This interior design project presents EYANA, a concept store for a new-age lab-grown diamond jewelry brand aimed at millennials who value sustainability, ethical sourcing, and accessible luxury. EYANA’s lab-grown diamonds are created through the precise CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition) process, matching the brilliance and quality of mined stones. This meticulous, carbon-based formation process inspired the store’s conceptual and visual identity, serving as the foundation for storytelling within the space.

Since carbon is the elemental source of all diamonds, whether mined or synthetic, we chose carbon black as the primary base colour for the interiors. This grounding tone is complemented by earthy hues and organic textures that reflect the raw, foundational stages of diamond creation.

The diamond seed motif is central to the store’s visual identity, symbolizing the genesis of every lab-grown diamond. This motif is subtly integrated throughout the space on walls and display elements to reinforce the narrative of growth and transformation.

The center zone of the store is sculptural display pedestals, symbolizing the transformation of a diamond seed through heat and pressure, culminating in jewelry displayed at the crown. This layered structure metaphorically represents the seed’s journey through carbon melting to crystal clarity.

Display units are designed for modularity and easy accessibility, ensuring a seamless shopping experience. Hero elements include a fossilized carbon branch structure positioned near the discussion table and oversized mirrored diamond sculptures in the storefront display. These features bring the diamond-creation narrative to life, transforming the store into a brand experience.

To break the rigidity of geometric repetition, a custom acrylic light fixture with an organic, fluid form interrupts the quadrilateral pattern, adding dynamism and contrast.

From seed to brilliance, every design detail is a tribute to the story of the lab-grown diamond.
